While working for the atmosphere design of ING Bank headquarters, we were also given the brief to create a branding and space identity for the fintech division of the bank. First, we started to find the perfect brand name for the fintech division of ING Bank and create the branding identity. Among the alternatives the name of Orange Lab was selected and it was time for us to create the desired visual identity for the brand. We created a bold, strong and refined identity for Orange Lab in which we have also created a unique font for the brand. The identity was digital, simple and beautiful. Right after branding we started working on the branded space. Orange Lab had a special space, a separate office, outside of the headquarters. We have created a space to be the heart of the fintech works of the ING Bank. Hence, Orange Lab with its own manifesto, with its unique visual identiy and with its wonderful atmosphere design was launched with a great success and admiration.

THE PERFECT BALANCE
Truly digital
— yet beautiful
While working for a purely digital mindset, we not only focused on the technology aspect but also on the likeability of the identity. With the use of three symbols, we both created the manifesto of Orange Lab and designed a coding appearance that is related with the proficiency of coders and developers.
Think of a target audience mainly established by Generation Z... Highly intelligent, smart and digital. We were very lucky to have a challenging target audience like this. It gave us the opportunity to be bold, brave and original.
Think of phonebooths that show how the phone rings in 11 different languages. Have a look at the container cafe which shows how graffiti can be linked with the corporate identity. See through windows that look like huge computer screens and try to decipher what's written on them. Truly, we enjoyed and had fun at every part of the project.
