BAKIRKÜRE · BRAND IDENTITY
The name is the logo.
Bakırküre is an interior architecture practice working out of Bebek, İstanbul, and its name already contains everything an identity needs: copper, and a sphere. So we didn't invent a symbol. We took the two dots sitting on the wordmark's own diacritic, lifted them out, enlarged them into a mark, and made copper the material the brand is printed on rather than a colour it is printed in. A logo that isn't an interpretation of the name. It is the name.
COPPER AND A SPHERE
Two dots, lifted.
Swiss 721 carries the wordmark in bold and light; the two spheres do the rest. Stacked, scattered or set in a perforated grid, they turn up wherever the practice does: on uncoated business cards, a copper-pink folder, a canvas tote, a site helmet, hoardings and the website.
The result is quiet, precise and impossible to mistake, which is exactly how a good interior should feel.
