B&T DESIGN · ORGATEC FAIR PAVILION
How do you stand out? By hiding.
Honestly, a trade fair stand is one of those projects we never really wanted to do, and one we were very glad we did. Heading to Orgatec in Cologne, B&T asked us how to be noticed among hundreds of brands, most of them far more famous. Every one of them would be shouting, so we did the opposite: a pavilion that closes itself off behind semi-transparent walls, showing just enough to make you want the rest. Mysterious, intriguing and inviting: an invitation that works precisely because it withholds.
THE CURIOSITY TEST
Everyone wanted to look inside.
The measure of a stand is not how many people walk past it, but how many stop and wonder. When we heard that Orgatec visitors were curious to peek behind those walls, we knew the answer had worked, and so did our dear client. Inside, the collections were free to be seen properly, without the noise of the hall competing for attention. Sometimes the loudest thing you can do at a fair is stay quiet.
