The book is the sample.
Ömür has been printing in İstanbul since 1981: offset, flexo, digital, labels and packaging, shipped to customers in dozens of countries. For a printing house, no claim on a page beats the page itself, so we built the book on a single decision: every single spread is produced with a different technique. Foils, embossing, spot finishes, coated white against uncoated kraft, ink behaving differently on every stock. It presents Ömür's selected works while quietly functioning as the swatch book of the press that made it. Devoted to printing, and able to prove it.
TECHNIQUE BY TECHNIQUE
Turn the page, change the press.
The reader learns Ömür's capability the way a client actually judges it: with fingertips. Copper foil on the cover, deboss on black board, an exposed stitched spine that shows how the book is built instead of hiding it. The object explains its own manufacture. Section by section the paper changes weight, colour and tooth, so the catalogue reads as a portfolio going forwards and a technical range going sideways. It also does something a PDF never can: it cannot be emailed, so it has to be handed over, which is exactly when the sale begins.
