Separate, but together.
The SabancıDx digital campus in Üsküdar spreads across seven buildings, each with its own architecture and character. Our job was harmony: one spatial identity for the whole campus, with every building given its own colour, number and atmosphere based on the proficiency inside. Bold typography, well-defined graphics and a healthy obsession with the X of SabancıDx made the campus consistent and unmistakably tailor-made.
CHALLENGE ACCEPTED
Seven buildings. One identity.
We started with Hangar, the campus's most iconic building, a mix of coworking, offices and event space, and used it to test the visual system. Motivational texts, wisely written expressions and a bold mix of materials did the rest.
FROM FACTORY TO CAMPUS
A Silicon Valley campus, in Üsküdar.
SabancıDx was perhaps one of the most challenging projects we've taken on. They wanted to transform an old factory and its surrounding grounds into something resembling a Silicon Valley-style campus, and bringing so many vastly different structures together under a single, cohesive identity was not an easy task.
Designing the atmosphere of the headquarters brought together digital, sustainable and motivational elements of communication. We developed unique designs for each building, giving every department its own distinct presence, while unifying them through a shared design philosophy and material language.
